Non-profit Advertising on a Budget

(and)vertising inc used scenes from The Beverly Hillbillies (Season 01, Episode 01) to help raise awareness of Rebuilding Together

Once upon a time, Rebuilding Together  had an image problem.

Some people thought they were a second-rate version of Habitat for Humanity.

You see, Habitat BUILDS BRAND NEW HOMES for low income families.

Rebuilding Together FIXES OLD HOMES for low income families.

And NEW is better than OLD, right?

Not necessarily.

Truth is, a lot of people don’t like change.

Especially older ones.

PRODUCTION NOTE: REBUILDING TOGETHER’S LITTLE AD AGENCY HAD THE IDEA TO USE GRANNY, UNCLE JED, ELLIE MAY AND JETHRO. RT’S BIG PR AGENCY (PEPPERCOMM) HAD THE RESOURCES TO GET THE O.K. TO USE THEM. WHICH ILLUSTRATES THE WISDOM OF HELEN KELLER’S MOST FAMOUS QUOTE, “ALONE WE CAN DO SO LITTLE. TOGETHER WE CAN DO SO MUCH.”

About David Wojdyla

In 1999, he founded “&WOJDYLA,” the first ad agency to put clients first. Building on success, Mr. Wojdyla co-founded “(and)VERTISING INC®,” a seamless marketing agency with a knack for making complicated subjects simple.
